Today, April 4, is the Day of the Homeless Animals

Michael les ofreció su casa y fue justamente por ellos que decidió ir en busca de Neverland. La condición...que las leyes de la zona le permitieran crear su propio 'zoo' aunque su concepto de 'zoo' sea muy distinto del que muchos de ellos tienen. Michael quería un verdadero HOGAR.

Michael offered them his house and was just because of them that he decided to go in search of Neverland. The condition ... that the laws of the area would allow him to create his own 'zoo' although the concept of 'zoo' Michael had was very different from what many of them have. Michael wanted a real HOME.

Los que hemos ADOPTADO a nuestro perro, gato o cualquier otro animal (yo adopté un periquito) sabemos lo importante que ha significado ese nuevo hogar para ellos, pero probablemente lo más bello del caso, es lo importante que ha significado para nosotros que ellos formen parte de nuestro hogar. Algo difícil de medir, más que con los destellos de luz que irradia la mirada ilusionada de nuestros hijos o la sensación de plenitud que nos llena cuando salimos a pasear con ellos.

Those who have adopted our dog, cat or any other animal (I adopted a parakeet) know how important it has meant that new home for them, but probably the most beautiful of the case, is how important it has meant to us that they form part of our home. Something hard to measure, but with flashes of light that radiates from our children excited look or our own feeling of fullness that fills us when we go out for a walk with them.
